Industry
Oil & Gas
Pressure-rated components machined to API expectations, with the certs to prove it.
What slows this industry down
Oil and gas parts work where failure is measured in blowouts, not warranty claims: valve internals and downhole tools see pressure, vibration and H2S-laden sour service simultaneously. NACE MR0175 turns material selection into a compliance question — hardness limits and alloy restrictions that rule out the obvious cheap choice. Every pressure-bearing part needs an EN 10204 3.1 certificate tracing it to a tested heat lot, and a missing cert can quarantine an entire shipment at the wellsite. Procurement swings between urgent rig-down replacements and planned project packages, and suppliers must serve both without compromising documentation.
Typical parts we machine
- Valve bodies, stems and trim components
- Downhole tool housings and subs
- Flanged connections and hub adapters
- Sensor pressure housings and instrument ports
- PEEK seals, seats and back-up rings
Recommended materials

Alloy Steel 4140
Chromoly muscle: deep-hardening alloy steel for heavily loaded shafts, tooling and gears.

Stainless Steel 316L
Marine and medical stainless: molybdenum chemistry that shrugs off chlorides and sterilization cycles.

Stainless Steel 17-4 PH
Stainless that hardens like tool steel: 1,310 MPa in H900 with minimal distortion.

PEEK
The polymer that replaces metal: 250 °C service, chemical immunity, implant-grade options.
Recommended finishes

PTFE Coating (Teflon)
The slippery armor: fluoropolymer for low friction, non-stick release and chemical inertness.

Electroless Nickel Plating (ENP)
Plating without electricity: dead-uniform thickness everywhere, bores and threads included.

Passivation
Chemical hygiene for stainless: strips embedded iron so the steel can be as stainless as advertised.
Certifications & standards
- API Q1
- We understand API Q1 supply chains and the process documentation discipline oilfield equipment manufacturers flow down to machining suppliers.
- API 6A
- We understand API 6A requirements for wellhead and christmas-tree components, including material class and PSL documentation expectations.
- NACE MR0175
- We understand NACE MR0175 sour-service constraints — hardness limits and alloy restrictions are applied at material selection, not discovered at inspection.
- EN 10204 3.1
- We support EN 10204 3.1 certificates on every pressure-bearing part, tracing it to a tested mill heat lot.
We understand and support these requirements; certification and documentation scope is confirmed per order.
