Choose it when
The part lives in an abrasive, shock-loaded environment — conveyors, guides, impact gears — where PA6 toughness outlasts the precision POM cannot keep anyway.
Look elsewhere when
Dimensions must hold in variable humidity: PA6 absorbs up to ~3% water and swells ~0.3%, enough to bind precision fits. For stable running fits, specify POM instead.
