DFM Tips

  1. 1Avoid deep pockets with small radii—use a minimum internal corner radius of 1/3 the pocket depth.
  2. 2Design for standard tool sizes (1mm, 2mm, 3mm, 6mm, 8mm, 10mm, 12mm end mills).
  3. 3Add draft angles of 1–3° for deep cavities to improve tool access and chip evacuation.
