ENV-01Travel is not part size
The travel column is the machine envelope. Usable part size is smaller: subtract workholding, tool access and head clearance. A part near the limit (the longest X travel on this list is 762 mm) usually changes machine or fixturing plan — state your maximum dimension in the RFQ and that gets settled before the price, not after.
ENV-02Machine accuracy is not part tolerance
The accuracy column describes the machine under controlled conditions. What your part holds depends on material, number of setups, overhang and thermal stability. That is why qualification measures the part in our metrology room instead of quoting the machine datasheet.
ENV-03Outside the envelope, the part changes plant — not supplier
Larger parts, processes not on this list, and volumes that need dedicated machines route into the network of 200 audited partner factories. The contract, the engineering review and the final inspection stay with FabVector.
ENV-04Metrology is what makes the list checkable
The CMM on this list is the same one that measures qualification sample parts from partner plants. In series production, critical characteristics run under SPC with Cpk ≥ 1.33, with FAI in AS9102 format when the programme calls for it.
