What is the best aluminum for drone frames and motor mounts?
7075-T6 where stiffness-to-weight decides (arms, motor mounts, gimbal frames) and 6061-T6 where geometry is complex and loads are moderate. Wall thickness down to 0.8 mm is machinable with proper fixturing; below that, weight savings usually cost you vibration behaviour.
Can I get 5 prototype drone parts and then 500 production units from the same supplier?
