What slows this industry down

Aluminum 6061-T6

Carbon Steel 1045

- Can a Chinese CNC shop supply automotive parts with PPAP-style documentation?
- We deliver the machining-side elements — dimensional results against the drawing, material certs to EN 10204 3.1, FAI and process capability data on critical features — in whatever package your PPAP level needs. What we do not do is claim IATF certification we do not hold; ask for the current certificate list before you build your supplier file.
- What is the right process for prototype EV battery and powertrain housings?
- CNC machining from 6061/6063 billet or plate is the standard prototype route before die-cast tooling exists: it holds the sealing-face flatness and thread quality castings need months to reach. Typical prototype housings run 1–20 pieces with cooling channels milled open and welded or gasketed closed.
- Which parts of a vehicle programme fit a machining network best?
- Low-to-mid volume precision parts: prototype and pre-series components, motorsport and performance parts, jigs and checking fixtures for the line, and service parts after tooling is retired. High-volume commodity parts belong on dedicated lines — we say so rather than quote them badly.
